Pet bottles become embroidery thread
The impact of the fashion industry on the environment is not only worrying but also a reason for us to tackle climate change, it has a direct impact on our future and how we are to succeed in our business going forward. With the growing demand for sustainable products from major players around the world such as, Nike, Adidas, Ralph Lauren, and also luxury brands such as LVMH, we are asking suppliers to renew our portfolio of products with truly environmentally friendly products.
We are proud to present brand new products under the concept of Madeira Green. Madeira Green will be the main focus of product development and we can now present some of these products.
Polyneon Green
Our first Madeira Green product is Polyneon Green. The embroidery thread is made from recycled plastic bottles.
It is a 100% recycled Polyester, with the same fine shiny lustre, and soft feel as Madeira Polyneon.
30 standard colors will be introduced to begin with to soon be increased to 108 colors. You can use the Polyneon map to identify the colors of the
Polyneon Green for now.

World premiere – Sensa Green
The first genuine Lyocell embroidery thread is a true Madeira innovation and is launched
early summer 2021.
- Made of 100% Lyocell fibers, the most environmentally friendly embroidery thread available
available. - 144 beautiful colors and a brand new color map will be available in the third quarter of 2021.
- Extra soft feeling that can be recommended for skin-close embroidery.
Available for order in autumn 2021 and will be available in 80-100 colors.
