The reason is that the upper blade is free on both sides, which reduces friction between the material and the cutting blade. FORZA is equipped with a 400W motor, strong metal gears and adjustable blade speed. All these features make FORZA suitable for many of your cutting applications. The impressive 350-watt motor combined with a bronze/steel clutch gear creates a very high torque. The SW12SM can cut any material in the "soft" stage up to a maximum thickness of 50 mm. High torque combined with the slow speed of the blade allows cutting even rubber and plastic-based materials in the field of carpeting and multi-layer industrial flooring. The push-button activated sharpening stone allows sharpening of the blade edge in less than 10 seconds without removing the blade. The aluminum cutting base is coated with Teflon® to enable smooth machine operation and reduce friction between the base and the material. Particularly suitable for cross-cutting, the SW12SM is equipped with an anchor flange for easy adjustment on fixed or automated suspensions. For 24-hour trimming, the SW12SM is also available in left-hand version (mirroring) as model SW12SSM.
